Visual Control Systems

This 4-hour session will introduce you to Visual Control Systems and how and why this powerful tool should be an important part of your Lean System. To set the stage we will start with a quick look at a visual that everyone will be familiar with. This course will give you a clear definition of what a Visual Control System is and the four types of Visual Devices and give you some examples. We will ask you to go to Gemba (wherever your Gemba is that day) and ask you to find examples of these devices. From there we will discuss Visual Management and discuss different Management Systems and how they can be used. We will finish with a final breakout session where we will give teams a specific Visual Management System to develop and then come back and share with all. At the end, we will leave time for Q&A.
